STEP 1: ADD COMPOST

Fill compost in your mug to about halfway full.

STEP 2: LOOSEN THE ROOTS

Tease the tree out of its existing container and loosen the roots.

STEP 3: ADD YOUR MINI CHRISTMAS TREE

Introduce your table centerpiece – we used little Christmas trees in Denby mugs, bowls as candleholders and a touch of greenery.

STEP 4: ADD FAIRY LIGHTS

Finish with miniature fairy lights wrapped around the tree – this makes a beautiful little centerpiece for your Christmas table or you can create lots of trees for a dramatic forest inspired look.
